Easter

Our city's Saturday easter eggstravaganza!  Bounce houses, easter bunny, easter egg hunts for different age groups, pony rides, and more!  It's a tradition in our family!
 Girls weren't scared at all!
We dyed easter eggs Sat. afternoon... and made easter cookies for some of our friends... and some for us!!
Sunday morning easter bunny pancakes!

I am in LOVE with the easter dresses Nana got them... from Costco.  I love Costco.  Someone at church said they looked like cupcakes lol  I totally agree.  They look so sweet I could just eat em!  We love our cute girls!!  I love easter and the meaning behind it.  I'm grateful for the knowledge that my Savior not only died for us, but that he still LIVES!  And what makes Easter extra special is getting to spend this special day with my family and teaching our little girls about Jesus Christ.  I felt like the girl's beautiful dresses and radiant faces made them look like little sunshines that silentily whispered "today is a very special, happy day."  Their faces were glowing and I got that feeling that I always get that my girls are truely daughters of God and He truely loves them.  But the feeling went a little further... I felt like they were radiating Christ's love for everyone as they wore those pretty, yellow, eastery dresses.  This is why I love the tradition of having an easter dress...  something special you get to wear to honor this special day.  I always loved getting an easter dress and I hope my girls love it as well!  Kailee even got to say the opening prayer in primary today :)
My attempt at taking a picture of us b4 church :)

Allie was already buckled in, so I snapped a quick pic. of Kailee with Daddy!
Jared took a few pics. at home too!
I love this pic... even though Allie's "smile" looks like she's yelling or something :)
 Candid for sure!
 Cute!
Cuter!  Maybe next year we'll get a family easter pic!  Now I feel like singing "He is Risen!"  I love that hymn.

I love cooking, crafting, & raising preschoolers!

New recipe I made up that was DELICIOUS!: Boil some sweet potatoes until they are 3/4 the way cooked... peel off skin & dice into little cubes.  Spray botom of 9X13 pan, layer sweet potatoes and then cut up pieces of uncooked chicken.  Then I melted like a third stick of butter and mixed Italian seasoning into the butter.  I next drained a can of green beans and mixed them in with the butter & seasoning.  Then I sprinkled the green beans on top of the sweet potatoes & chicken and added some sliced onions too.  I baked in the oven uncovered at 350 for like 20 or so minutes (until chicken was done).  It was so good and my girls LOVED it!!
My friend Kerry that just moved into our ward taught me how to make these bows!  Cute!  Except I can't get Kailee to wear them.  Allie will still wear whatever I want her to most of the time :)  I have to trick or bribe Kailee to get her to wear these new bows I made lol
Allie dressed herself and I was so excited one of the new bows I made matched the shirt she chose!!  So adorable!
We made brownies for my friend, Melanie's, b-day.  The girls really take licking the bowl seriously!!  I love my 3rd ward friends!  Thanks for the fun girls night at Chipotle!!
Allie sportin her new blue bow!
Sunday morning cuteness!  Thanks Nana for the sweet headbands!!

She had a mini prom-do! :)  So precious!  I love dressing up cute little girls!
Kailee asked me for a glue stick and I just gave it to her b/c she likes to glue papers and stuff... never makes a mess really... well later on while she's napping, I notice these on the table.  She had made signs that said I love Grandma and I love Grandaddy.  Then she glued the pencil or pen to the sign to be the stick that she could hold up to show off her beautiful signs.  I took a picture of the memory b4 I disassembled and rescued my pen :)  My little preschooler is learning how to spell words by sounding letters out.  For example on a card for a friend, she wrote: "Frum: Kailee."  That is how it sounds. :)  Kailee makes me smile!
My Beehives: Sadie & Siri at a track meet!
More of my awesome beehives (Sadie, Lauren, & Kalee)!  I love working with the young women in our ward!  They are a blast!  Go cowgirls!  Jared enjoyed watching many of his students at the district track meet as well.  It was a fun night!  The girls love eating hot dogs and playing on the bleachers :)

She loves to play with her hair too!
 Check out her sparkly toes!

Kailee has sparkly toes & nails!  Thanks to my friend Bethany who posted about the coolest glitter pack ever at Michaels!  Now we'll have glitter toes for every holiday!
I couldn't resist taking a few sister pics!

Nana & Papa's visit!

Nana & Allie with her new pillow pet!
Bath time!
Some of Nana's favorite girls!! (We can't forget Jess, Racheal, & sweet Natalie) :)
My snuggle-bug!
I LOVE these dresses my Mom got the girls!
Sunday morning!
Potty time... that's right... Allie is a BIG GIRL!!
 Another cute outfit from Nana!

Papa was helping all of our hinges to not be squeaky :)  Allie kept him company!
After a delicious meal cooked by Nana, we got ICE CREAM CONES!  One thing my Mom & I are passionate about is FOOD!  We cooked almost every night she was here b/c there were meals we HAD to get in!  We had a lot of leftovers after she left, so I didn't have to cook for like 3 days!
 Allie is such a sharer!
 Nana & Papa's little girls!
 Storytime!
Papa & Nana... love this pic!  Isn't my Mom gorgeous!!!  And she is just as beautiful on the inside!  She remembered I liked face masks and she couldn't find the peeling kind, so she ordered some for me.  She stocked up our shampoo & deodorant shelf and got the girls toothbrushes, toothpaste, lip gloss, jump ropes, books, a couple movies, & the CUTEST easter dresses!  I can hardly wait for Easter Sunday so they can wear them!  We were definitely spoiled!  And Papa & Nana took Kailee to lunch and then let her pick her and Allie out some shoes at Target.... she picked Dora!  Kailee told me all about her fun date with Nana & Papa!
Papa & Nana took us to dinner at Petra's... a mexican restaurant.... so yummy and very authentic in my opinion!  Jared had such a busy week, it was nice for us to all spend some time together before Papa & Nana had to leave.

I love you Mom!  Can't wait for your next visit!!
