Slow Down

I was reading a friend's blog tonight and was amazed at how her kids had grown, even though it's only been like 2 years since I've seen her.  My thoughts immediately turned to our beautiful little girls and as tears filled my eyes, I began wishing that time would slow down.  Today Allie said a very big girl complete sentence in the car on the way to church: "I have some more wawer peas Kailee??"  Kailee of course handed the sippy cup back to Allie and I thought wow...they used to be babies... and now I have 2 toddlers.  I have cherished every moment thus far and look forward to so many happy memories to come, but I just wish time would pass a little slower so that I could have a little more time to snuggle, a little more time singing songs with them, a little more time listening to their cute prayers, a little more time listening to Allie's baby talk, a little more time carrying Allie before she gets too big, a little more time changing her diaper before I potty train her, a little more time brushing their teeth before they can do it themselves, a little more time reading books to them before they want to read to me, a little more time holding their hand everywhere we go, a little more time to receive heart warming smiles after their naps before they no longer nap, a little more time to hear them yell "Daddy" and run to him and jump in his arms when he gets home, a little more time to hear their cute conversations, a little more time to see them putting their babies night nights, a little more time to see them get soooo excited when they hear the trash truck coming, a little more time to catch Allie getting into the fridge and sneaking yogurts or grapes, a little more time to hear Kailee beg me to read her books or do a reading lesson with her, a little more time to comb their hair & pick out their bows, a little more time to give them a gazillion kisses everyday.  I hope they always know how much I love them and I hope I'll never forget all of the precious moments we've had.

I love my eternal companion and best friend.
I love my princesses and playmates.
I love my family.

Friends and Family!

The reason we went to Utah was for Jared's brother, Cameron's, wedding!  Congrats Cam and Charee!  If only I had snapped a pic. of them :(  It was so fun to hang with all of Jared's fam.  He has such a fun set of siblings!  We were able to celebrate his Mom's birthday and go to Bear lake for a couple of days as well.  It was fun getting to know Jared's cousins and cousins-in-law and visiting with Grammy... and riding the jet skis!  I love family get togethers!!  They are so fun for all the kids!
