Our October

Luckily, Jared did not break the "friend" swing!

The girls coloring in their new tutus!  Thanks Nana!

Our preschool trip to the pumpkin patch!  Here the girls are feeding the goats and the goats always took their cups!
Little too big for her.... she ended up dropping it and picking a smaller one.
We went on a hayride too!!
Here is half of our class!
And lastly, I was able to attend Time Out For Women recently with 7 gals from my ward!  It was like an EFY for women!  Except, no dancing :( But that didn't stop us from having a dance party in our hotel!  After Friday nights conference, we went out for a late dinner and we all stayed in one room at the Holiday Inn and each paid like $12 to sleep & eat their yummy breakfast!!  I only got like 4 hours of sleep, but it was well worth it!  We had the privilege of hearing from Hilary Weeks and Michael McClain!  It was a very spiritually uplifting weekend.  Thanks Jared for holding down the fort and letting me take this 24 hour getaway!

Happy Birthday Jare-Bear!!

My sugar-plum honey bum turned 29 last week... this post is so late (sorry), but finally here!
Kailee woke up coughing and wheezing, so Daddy helped her nebulize while Mommy cooked!!
Jared requested German Pancakes for breakfast and I pulled through and even dyed them green to be a boy color!
For lunch, we went to Jare'ds school to have a picnic lunch w/ him!!  We got to see Jared's students sing to him while I spinned him in the birthday chair!
One student bought him hot chocolate!!
Another student made him a birthday banner and got him some sweet glasses and head gear!
For dinner, Daddy wanted Papa Johns!!  Yummy!  We ate at a park!
Kailee & Allie colored Daddy some pictures and got him his favorite candy!
Then we got ice cream at Dairy Queen!

We saved the carrot cake for the birthday I threw Jared Saturday night.... we had like 12 couples over and some of their kids.  The girls had a blast playing w/ friends and we had fun playing games & eating yummy food!   I made chicken salad croissants which were AMAZING and so worth the time it took to make them!I taught about 5 mins. of english folk dancing and then had couples dance together and it was so fun!  Everyone was smiling and laughing, so I felt relieved they didn't think the dancing was lame. :)  Jared & I had a blast!  We ate carrot cake and the girls played Wii Dance which is SUPER fun and the boys played Wii bowling, baseball, and tennis.  And finally, we went to bed exhausted at 10:45.  I threw my good friend, Marquee, a baby shower that morning, so our day was packed, but oh so fun!!  I love you Jare-Bear!  Happy Birthday to the best person I know!!   Love you tons sugar buns!

Our 1st Family Camping Trip!

A lantern my Dad got me long ago!
We went camping with the Castros and the Hiatts!  So, 7 kids total!  My girls had a blast playing, exploring, using their flashlights, toasting hot dogs, eating pizza (thanks John!) and smores, and telling stories!  After the kids fell asleep, we snuck out of our tents and the adults hung out, laughed, & played catch phrase!  Good times!
 Allie kissing Daddy!
 Allie snuggling Daddy!
Kailee slept like a log from 9-7... not her typical 12 hours, but not bad at all!  Jared got her a princess sleeping bag and Allie a tinkerbell one... so cute!  Allie fell asleep at like 10 or 10:30 finally and tossed and turned all night (translation: not a lot of sleep for me) and then got up at 7 too.  It was nice weather, but it got down to 54, which is COLDER than I thought it would be.  I was freezing.  It was definitely fun, but the lack of sleep has brought me to the conclusion that we won't camp again til next Spring.  If we do go again this fall, I'm coming home and putting Allie down and sleeping in my bed!!

Me & Allie in our morning glory!  I love her hair in the mornings... CRAZY!!

Sisters, Sunbeams, & Cinn. Rolls!

A friend gave us a tunnel they no longer use!!!
 My Sunbeam Class... so cute!!
These two tutu girls rolled around on the floor together giggling and jumping on one another for a half hour!
 BFF's!

Homemade cinnamon rolls... before I cooked them!  Pretty easy; we'll have to make this a conference tradition!

State Fair!
