So Proud!
For those of you that don't know... I have the most amazing husband ever!!! I am reminded of this daily, but really felt he deserved a post in his honor after his awesome choir concert last week. I love watching him conduct music for those cute middle schoolers. I loved seeing the smile on their faces. Jared has like 5 different choirs and they were all amazing. My favorite song was "Supercalifragalisticexpealidocious!" Who knows if I spelled it right! He had the kids do the movements to spell out the word and it was awesome. All of the songs were filled with smiles, gestures, personality, and fun! I was so proud of him and his students. They have worked hard and Jared really has given his all to his choirs. In honor of all of the time he spends away from the family and for going above & beyone his call of duty (such as his before school "Synergy" Choir... his volunteer coordinator coordinated a way for parents to chip in and get us an ANNIVERSARY GETAWAY at a really nice resort not too far from where we live. We were ECSTATIC!! And still are. We are so pumped for July!! It'll be 5 years for us!! If any of you parents or choir kids are reading this. THANKYOU SO MUCH!! We are seriously so grateful and so excited! We already have a babysitter lined up!!! 2 nights and 3 days away from our girls. Bittersweet! I've never left them for that long, but I know they'll be okay and I'm just pumped to spend some time with my man! Here are some pics and a few videos from his concert! Enjoy! Watch the videos!! You'll be so glad you did! Sorry the view isn't that great, but just listen!! These are just a few of my favorites!

I agree, wholeheartedly, ALL of the choirs were AMAZING! You have a lot to be proud of. My favorite video is the one with Faith and Kailee in the way just dancing in up! PRICELESS! And, when you go to the Gaylord Texan...please try Texas Hickory Smokehouse if you can...DELISH!
How exciting and fun! It really says a lot when parents come together to give such a generous gift to a teacher!
How fun!! Those were so great! Thanks for sharing...I'm excited you guys have a little get-a-way. You'll love it and feel so revived when you get back!
Jared, I am truly sorry that I have not yet commented on your concerts, because I really want you to know that I think you are such an amazing, gifted and wonderful choir teacher. Listening to your students filled my heart with happiness. I was so emotional already with tears running down my face looking at closeups of Kailee & Allie. Then I listen to your amazing choirs. I just loved it, it was awesome! I am going to listen to them often when I need a 'pick me up'! :-) I love that you obviously love music with all your heart & soul. I am so happy for you because you must feel such satisfaction in what you have accomplished in working with these students. Their voices just lifted my heart & made me cry. It is so uplifting to see these kids perform with such enthusiasm. You are giving them something that they will always cherish, this valuable foundation of music. They have the opportunity to build on it over the years because of you. I know you will receive great joy in watching them grow in the following years and seeing what some of your students do with the gift you are giving them. I am so happy that there is music still in the schools & it is my hope that there will not be any school that has to cut music & the arts. Your students are so amazingly blessed and their parents have shown you just how greatful they are for what you do for their children. What a tribute to who you are, all your hard work & all that you do. Jared, I am so very proud of you. I know that your mom is beaming with pride & that your family shares great happiness for you. We also share that happiness and are thankful for your loving wife to insist on sharing your concerts with your family & friends. I loved the Taylor Swift song. It was great and fun to hear. I also wanted to get up & dance with Kailee & her little friend. :-) All the songs sounded amazing. I loved the 'somebody to love?' one too. Great voices. Like Shannon, I too loved the "Supercali...."They did a fantastic job. I love the enthusiasm they showed! Although their faces were blurry , I know they were smiling. :-) And Jared, it was so good to see you at work! I LOVE 'your' enthusiasm and you have some great moves- my dear son-in-law! Lol. Really, it was wonderful to hear & to see that song performed. You did an unbelievable job. There were some great sopranos in there. I loved the boys doing 'My girl'. I was bee-bopping to the groove and wanted to hear more! All the songs were great. I loved all the solos in that one song. The last girl in that song had quite a powerful and wonderful voice. I wonder if she is one of Mr. Critchfield's students. :-) I thought they all blended well with great harmony. And the last song was just fabulous. I loved that Shannon was laughing with me. LOL I love my daughters laugh, it makes my heart happy. What a great song! And to that I add, Jared Bernard Critchfield II... "To know you, is to love you.. shucks, it must be hard to be humble, but I am sure that you are doing the best that you can. :-) I will share your concert with Steve soon. He will love it. I love you. We love you. Dakota loves you and says 'ruff, ruff, ruff'. Love, ~Angela~
