Family visit!!

My Dad, step-mom, and grandma (Mama Bert) came to visit us for 10 days!!! Grandma and Kailee coloring with glitter glue!
Mama Bert and Kailee!
Grandaddy swinging Allie, lol.
Aren't these dresses cute!!
Who needs matching pajamas to have fun?!
On the right is Charlie!
Before church.

Doesn't Mama Bert look great in turquoise?? She named Allie poker face because Allie always has this serious look, even sometimes when you're trying to tickle her. We can never figure out what she's thinking, lol.
Allie spit foot all over mama Bert, lol.
Daddy's girl! Always and Forever!

My Dad spent a lot of time lying on the ground.... resting.... because he was working so hard most of the time he was here.
Princess Grandma. Kailee thought that Grandma was so silly!
Kailee dancing in her panties. We tried to get Mama Bert to do the same, but she figured she better not, lol.
Grandaddy would do this a lot and throw Kailee in the air and say "whoopsydaisy," so now whenever I talk to my Dad on the phone, she says "whoopsydaisy!"
My Dad has a great smile. So does poker face when she smiles.
Grandaddy with his grandbabies! Can't you tell he is so proud!! He loves getting old, lol!
Kailee was always tickling grandma because she laughed so hard and made it so fun!
She loved getting tickled back too!
Big smiles!
Allie somehow got halfway under this chair! There's a happy face!
Pretty girl!
She is officially a thumb sucker! But only when she sleeps. So cute!
On all fours!
My Dad and Jared worked all day extending our cement patio!! We had a lot of erosion on the backside of our house, so my Dad used cement blocks around the edges where we were going to pour the cement, then filled it with dirt because it was sooooo unlevel, then they poured cement on top and it looks sooooooooo good! My Dad even made us a stair!!
Jared working hard!
Here is our unlevel back yard. My Dad dug little ditches and buried black pipes under ground to go from the gutters down to the drain that is in our back yard to stop our erosion problem. He raised the drain up like a foot too. My Dad is seriously the handiest guy I know. He knows how to do like everything. Then we got a bunch of dirt hauled in to level off the back yard. Now we're just waiting for grass to grow so the girls can run around outside without tons of black sticky dirt sticking to their shoes. It's been raining a ton here lately.
My Dad would haul the dirt that was dumped in the front yard to the back and then Kailee would ride back to the front yard with him in the wheelbarrow!! That's their sweet motor home behind them. You can't really see it, but it's huge. It took up our entire driveway, plus a couple inches. It was almost embarassing, lol. All our neighbors were asking questions and laughing at how big it was. It has a small gargage on it, so my Dad brought my old bedroom furniture for me to paint and give to my girls!! Kailee called the motor home a choo choo because to her it was as big as a train!
My Dad knows how to tile and has a tile cutter, so we got some tile and when he came, he showed us how to do it and Jared and I got to work while grandma and mama bert played with the girls. It took soooooo long, we decided not to do the bathrooms because it was too much work.
There's my baby!
This is what I find in the kitchen. The drawer under the oven pulled out (used as a stepping stone) so that Ms. Kailee pie could reach the muffins. She scraped off the tops of two muffins. Smart girl! I had no idea she did it until she was napping and I went to get a muffin.
Sisters!
My Dad's cousin Woody and his family came to visit! It was so fun to find out we had family nearby!! We ate lasagna and just had so much fun hanging out with them. They have a great family!
Jared's brothers, Cameron and Colby, came to visit us. Cameron claims he missed us, but I think he really just wanted to come so he could do assessments on our babies, lol. jk. He had a homework assignment to do like 100 assessments on people, so he did like 3 or 4 assessments on both girls, and a couple on us. The girls cooperated very well. Cameron made it so fun for Kailee. She got to listen to her heart beat and he would be feeling her arms and legs to make sure there was no pain and he'd stay stuff like "let me see your arm, oh wow, you have such pretty arms" lol. It was fun to watch.
Dr. Cameron! Kailee wanted to know where her sucker was because that's what her dr. gives her. Cameron was prepared with some candy!!
Dr. Kailee!
Kailee absolutely adored both of her uncles and still talks about them all the time! She'll see someone at the store or church that looks like them and call out their name, lol.
Great smiles!! Colby is getting married in like a month! He'll make such a great Dad.... someday!
We had Paul and Gabby over for dinner while my family was here and we had a ball eating homeade pizza and playing Yahtzee. Kailee woke up crying cuz she was sick. So, we let her play some and she just loved it!!
Daddy with his girls! Tickle time!

I feel like I'm always taking pictures, so we don't have a lot of me and the girls, so I told Jared to take some pictures while the girls were in their cute dresses!

I need a gym partner too! We just graduated from Wymount and the gym here in Ogden isn't near as good or convenient as Provo was. Those were great times. And it was you who hooked me onto Pump...and my biceps are showing it...just kidding. It seems you guys are doing great! It was great to hear from you. Maybe someday we'll have a house!

Shannon! Holy Cow I haven't looked at your blog in like a week and now there are thousands of pictures to look at! I could say that I can't believe how cute your kids are but I DO believe how cute they are because they have you as a mommy-YEAH GIRLFRIEND! That is so fun to have had your Dad in town. Wish we could come up sooner-but alas the Summer has begun and the salesguys are here until September. Anyway-just wanting to tell you we miss you guys and talk about you way more often than we see you! Love you!

Looks like you guys are doing good! That's neat that all the family came to visit. Mama Bert is up here for Jason's graduation and I think she's staying for like 3 weeks or something! I'm excited to see her.

Isn't family so fun. I love when we visit family. No one has visited us here because we still live in Wymount, and how exciting is that? Well, we will get visitors someday right? That is so neat that your dad is so handy. That is lucky for you. Then you have someone to help with the house.

Wow, that is so great your pops came to visit. Put him to work! The younger generation (that's you) just isn't as handy these days...lol We are totally lost when it comes to that stuff too!

Your girls are GORGEOUS! Love the hair. I love that you have your very own backyard too!!
