North Carolina

I flew home to NC last week for my Grandpa's funeral. Though it was under sad circumstances, it was fun to see my family. These are my cousins Peanut and Alex.

This is my Dad... "Grandaddy"

And this is my Grandma, Vonne, or as Peanut calls her, "Grandma Redneck"

This is my sister-in-law Jess who wishes she could adopt Kailee because she's so cute, but I won't let her.

And this is my Uncle Kelly.

Your cousin in that first picture looks so much like you! (The girl!) What fun that you could go home and visit. Are you going home for Christmas too?

Grandma (Vonne), Hi Vonne. So good to see you with little Kailee. It warms my heart to hear how much Shannon, Jared (& little Kailee) love you -and always enjoyed visiting you and Bobby (Papa); and now of course-enjoy visiting you. Having seen this photo of you and Kailee...just wanted to take the opportunity to tell you that I love you and to again express my deepest condolences. He might have been my "Former" 'Father-in-Law', but I have always loved Bobby and I have always appreciated knowing that over the years you both have still cared about and loved me. He will be missed by so many. Steve and I both enjoyed visiting you over the years. Our heart goes out to you during this difficult time. May you feel comfort and peace in the memories of your fun-loving relationship and the deep love you shared in your marriage and life together. I have fond memories of you often teasing and laughing together. My thoughts and prayers are with you Vonne...always. I am not good at keeping in touch most of the time, yet my Shannon keeps me informed. ;-) Much Love, Angela
