Baby #3 is on the way!

Wahoo!  We are sooooo excited to announce that baby #3 will be here sometime mid-January!!  I'm 13 weeks tomorrow!!  My maternity insurance kicks in Sept. 1st.... just in time for our gender ultrasound!!  We'll keep ya posted :)  The girls are excited.  Kailee thinks it's a baby brother and Allie just wants baby to come out now to say hi.  She's dying to see the baby.  Anyhoo... I love little babies and am so excited for another one since my girls are getting so big.

Allie will be 3 the end of July and is soooooo cute.  She has less of an attitude, thank goodness, and is more sweet these days.  She is still feisty though.  She has a mind of her own and has a very loud voice.  She talks non-stop and asks lots of questions.  She is shy around people she doesn't know.  She makes us laugh and smile every day and sometimes makes us want to pull our hair out :)  May her terrible two fits turn into terrific threes!!  She is soooo excited for her birthday and wants a strawberry bananna cake...hmmm...I convinced her to want a pink cake or cupcakes.  Allie puts on a swimsuit almost every day during nap time b4 she goes to sleep.  She loves wearing her swimsuit or Kailee's :)  She also loves to pick on her sissy.  She does anything she can to annoy Kailee, it's kindof funny to watch, but drives us crazy too.  Kailee never picks back, she just whines.  One of these days someone is going to teach Allie a lesson... or maybe she'll simmer down a bit b4 that has to happen.  Allie loves singing, watching Christmas Barney over and over again, doing puzzles, reading books, SNUGGLING (she crawls in bed with me every morning... I love it), going on family walks, and EATING!!

Kailee is almost 4 1/2 and is super sweet and smart.  She loves writing notes to us and friends, coloring, playing with friends, preschool, riding her bike, dancing, and reading.  She is a pretty good little reader.  She'd be even better if I hadn't been such a slacker the past 6 months.  I'm not worried b/c she still has a year b4 kindergarden.  The whole spelling words out to Jared doesn't work anymore b/c she figures them out.  Like bed, go, nap, park, etc.  Kailee loves to nap with me which I do quite often now as I can't sleep as well at night these days.  She is always telling us she loves us or writing it in cute pics. for us.  She is a big helper and loves to help clean up.  She loves sunbeams and strives to be a good example for Allie.

This month, Jared's daddy/daughter dates were:  Kailee & Daddy got a snow cone on Sat!! and Allie & Daddy got pink ice cream at Braums today!!  Lucky.  Daddy loves it.  They love it.  I love it.  We love our girls!

Happy Father's Day!!

 Father's Day Race Day!  A new tradition we've started that is the Sat. before Father's Day each year.  The kids had their own 50 yd. dash...

 Then we went to McDonalds for breakfast to celebrate and this is the only pic Jared took lol

 When I went to wake Allie from her long nap, this is what I found... lol  good times!

 Kailee watchin Mommy cook!  Jared took it easy on me since I wasn't feeling good being prego and all and requested Digiorno stuffed crust pizza and a salad.... so yummy and so easy!

 Then pop in the oven choc. chip cookies for dessert... after our family walk!

 This is why I love Jared home for the summer... he couldn't believe how much laundry we have and totally started to complain when I brought in the 3rd load and I was like "hello, I do this every week... maybe now  you'll appreciate me more" lol  He gave me the "touche" look and kept folding as he watched Pawn Stars on his lap top... the secret to getting him to fold!

 Time to wash Daddy's car!!  The girls didn't help much; they mostly played with the water hose and sprayed each other.  Love moments like these.

 

 Some of Jared's fam came for a short visit before a week at Port Aransas beach (pictures to come)  This is Allie with Grandpa!  She really adores him.

Then, after dinner, Jared took me to the mall to get..... Miss Me Jeans!!  I was sooooooo excited b/c I've wanted a pair for a long time and they are BEAUTIFUL with a little bling bling on the bootie :)  And I got my favorite flower: a pink gerber daisy!  Thanks babes for a happy day!
