Trick or Treat!

The week before Halloween, we went to a super fun Halloween party at the Foust's home. We won best costume. This is our prize. We are an elderly couple. Jared looks like a grumpy old man.
I got our clothes from the goodwill. I kept laughing all night at Jared's pants. He looks more nerdy than old, lol. I had about 15 bean bags in my shirt sagging down if ya can't tell. Those babies were hard work carrying around, lol.
She's getting better about looking at the camera when smiling.
She is a "bootiful pincess fairy!" Her granny gave this to her like a year ago and it still fits! Thanks Granny!
Me and the girls! I am a Mom who loves her princesses more than they'll ever know! I guess I wear my costume everyday!
The fam
Allie is such a cutie pie. I love that she can wear bows!
Thanks Nana for the costume! This was also a gift a year ago. My Mom sent Kailee and Allie these cute princess dresses and I had never opened the small one. It fit Allie perfectly!
Superstar!
Daddy and the girls! We went to a trunk or treat at the stake center.
Granny got the girls these super cute tutus and Kailee wears hers all the time.
Don't ya love the bow!! $2 at trades day!
As I went upstairs to get Allie (Kailee was still asleep), I see Kailee's princess chair at the top of the stairs. I could only conclude that she got out of bed and tried to climb over the gate to come downstairs. Then I go upstairs to see where she ended up crashing...
There is her on the dora couch. She changed out of her pj's, took her diaper off, and put a t-shirt and skirt on. Notice all the toys. Who knows how long she was playing before she fell asleep. She also peed ALL over the Dora couch. Yuck. She is potty trained during the day, but wears diapers at nights, for good reason. She rarely has a dry diaper. I tried putting her in panties at night for 3 nights in a row, but she wet the bed every night, so I will try again maybe in a few months or longer.

Daddy Daughter Date!

This picture shows Kailee staring at an african american, lol. I guess we don't see many. Maybe we need to get out more. :)
I was so excited for Jared and Kailee to have a daddy daughter date because I loved spending time with my Dad growing up! I have to admit though... I was a bit jealous that Jared got to see all of her excitement at the fair. We both knew that it would be miserable to take Allie because she can't handle staying up as well as Kailee can and who wants to hold a HEAVY, sleeping child for hours at the fair?? With the hour long train ride back to the van, they didn't get home til 10:30pm! Nine hours of daddy daughter fun while Mommy spent mommy daughter time with Allie and then worked on preschool stuff!
You'd think Kailee would've gotten tired and cranky, but she was just too happy. She LOVED all the rides and was very intrigued by all the interesting people that joined her on the train ride there and back. We look forward to taking both girls next year!! My family went to the fair every year growing up and I loved that tradition! I want it to be ours too!

Family in town!

This is a random picture of my preschool girls. Today was Horrible Hair Day! One girl spray painted her hair pink!
Grandma reading to Kailee

My Dad bought this alligator head while in New Orleans for business. Kailee got to show off her grandparents and the alligator head!
Looks like Grandma got all the attention this trip. Sorry Grandaddy! I guess next time you might have to remind me to get some pictures of you with the girls. Don't feel bad; Allie was left out too:)
My Daddy & I. It was so fun to have family in town! We really enjoyed their stay. We went to a lake with a trail around it. I rollerbladed while pushing Allie and Grandaddy and Grandma took Kailee on the big duck paddleboat in the lake. Then Jared met us there because he ran there. He has a half marathon next week! We ate breakfast at a fun restaurant that is supposedly the oldest in our city. We also had chinese one night...oh, and Macaroni Grill!!! From our own kitchen. Joy brought a box that you make. She rolled chicken tenders in eggs and stuffing, then lightly fried them and baked them in the oven to add to the noodles. It was soooo yummy!
Joy got us these cute scarecrows!
This used to be an ordinary pumpkin until Joy spiced it up for me! I liked it so much and went and bought 3 more to make some for my visiting teachees!
Aren't I talented?? I can't take all the credit though. Once again, Joy helped!! She even bought me the supplies! Talk about cheap decor!
This is the wreath I made two years ago. We gave it some body! It's so much cuter now. All we need now is a new doormat, lol.
Family.
Fall.
Fun.

I forgot a few pics.

My preschoolers!
I'm sooooo glad we brought the tables in the kitchen when we painted, as it was VERY messy!
My girls & I Why my elbow is like that I have no idea. Maybe I was sliding Allie over or something.

Rainy Day=Time to Blog!

Sorry these pictures are somewhat out of order!
Allie's 1st Birthday: July 25th! She LOVES balls. So, I tried to make her cake look like a half of a ball. It didn't turn out quite like I pictured, but it still tasted good!
Kailee enjoyed it too!
Al & Cathryn (our bestest buddies) came to visit! So cute! Al lost 30 lbs. Go Al!!
Check out this HUGE cantaloupe. It was sooooo delicious. Our garden is gone for now. At least until the Spring!
My younger brother!
Our car died. The timing belt broke and messed up our engine and it would've cost more than the car is worth to fix it. So, now we have a minivan and I'll post a picture of it sometime!
Kailee came out of the bathroom like this, so I had to grab the camera, lol.
My little preschooler. Doesn't she look like such a big girl! I love her to pieces!
Granny got Allie this sweet lawn mower for her birthday. She pushes it all over the place as it makes a really loud annoying sound, lol.
Granny made Allie an adorable blankie. She holds it with her fingers while her thumb goes in her mouth.
Family pic! FYI, Jared lost 15 lbs. since this picture and is lookin so good!
Allie at 14 months!
My brother came to live with us and sell pest control for a little while! Good times! I loved having him here. He's back at BYU-I now. Miss you bro!
I love this cute little face!
While hugging Jared, I slipped in one of Kailee's bows and he totally didn't know it for like an hour until he walked by a mirror. He thought I was just taking pictures of him and Kailee just because! lol If only we had made it out of the house. I would've loved it if he had that bow in while while we were at the park. Maybe next time!
Sisters are so fun and so cute! I just had to get a picture for you to see! Of course I can't get them both smiling and looking at the same time, but candids are the best, right!

Kailee loves to make a train with the preschool chairs . Allie had a good time too!

I got these cute bows at trades day!
They were so cute, I just had to take a picture!

Granny came down for Allie's 1st birthday! So, we celebrated her birthday too! Isn't she so pretty!
Granny painted Kailee's toes and nails and Kailee LOVED it!! She said "Granny's the best" almost everytime she looked at her green sparkly toes!
Grandpa & Kailee: She used to call him Paca but I guess she grew out of that :( It was so cute!
Jared's sister and her two girls. She totally went into labor like 2 days after she got home from the beach. Isn't she so cute pregnant! She has 3 girls now! I wonder if Jared's side of the family will ever get any more boys???
Kailee & Eden
Allie got was stick our whole time at the beach. She threw up all over herself, me, and the floor. I felt so sad for her. Luckily, my mother-in-law was there to rescue me. She bathed Allie in a cool bath so that I could clean myself up!
Jared & Kailee at a 4th of July Parade!
Jared, & Adam, & the cousins
Jared's sister! So cute. So sweet. So tan. Kailee adores her!
